Wakefield festival of beer
The third Wakefield Festival of Beer sees an exciting new venue and a larger and more diverse range of beers than ever before.
Located in the centre of Wakefield, Unity Works, will provide the home for around 80 beers and ciders and up to 700 guests per session on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th June.
Vying for your taste buds attention will be a mixture of London and local breweries. From the capitals new wave of edgy and experimental brewers to more established and indeed legendary Yorkshire beers there will be something for every palate in cask, craft keg and even rare packaged beers, Real ciders, perry, chilled wines and even cocktails will be offered.
Perfectly chilled beers will be accompanied by cracking live bands and artisanal street food. We aim to raise £10k for three local worthy causes by creating a beer paradise in Wakefield.

LONDON STOUT
MEANTIME
Meantime London Stout is derived from the original Stout Porters of the early 19th century. Made without the roast barley used in their Irish descendents; dark malts and London water work closely together to give a beer of great complexity. Soft mocha coffee and vanilla notes on the nose hint at the lingering vanilla notes on the tongue. A velvet mouthfeel holds a rich and complex palate of caramel, molasses, and nut roast, which gives way to a gentle malt-bitter dryness.
