The second annual Langley Park Beerfest to be held on Friday 29th September (5pm to 11pm) and Saturday 30th September (Noon to 11pm).
The Festival is a Rotary Club of Langley Park event - Families welcome - the friendly Festival! All proceeds will be shared equally between St Christopher's Hospice and Hospice in the Weald.
There will be 44 cask Ales, 10 Ciders, a Prosecco Bar and Free soft drinks for Drivers. The weekend will feature regular sets of live music from the Dave Ware’s Traditional Jazz Band, 'Arry and the 'Atstands (on both days), the BYMT Golden Hops Brass Ensemble, and Piston Broke.
Entrance £5 per person inclusive of Festival pint glass and Programme. Drink Tokens £1.75 each (beer and Cider 1 token per half pint; and Prosecco 3 tokens per 170ml glass, or 10 tokens per bottle). Hot food will be available all day.

A mid-gold session beer made using hops exclusively from the Finchcocks hop garden in Kent. On the nose there hints of the Burton snatch (think struck matches), whilst wisps of citrus fruit float around in the background. The palate sings with citrus notes, a hint of resiny hoppiness as well as a crunchy biscuitiness that comes from the malt. The finish boasts more bitterness before a fade-out of grain dryness. Multi-Award Winner.
Amber Pale Ale. Made with Chinook, Cascade and Eurica hops. Has a refreshing bitterness and an aroma and taste of citrus and tropical flavours. Very quaffable
A classic copper-coloured Kentish Session Bitter which perfectly captures the ruggedness of a Whitstable Native. Satisfying malt flavours complement the aromas of the county’s most famous hops – the Fuggle and the East Kent Golding

A dark, malty bitter with nutty, roasted notes from the chocolate malt. This session bitter is hopped with Kent Target hops from the National Trust’s hop farm at Scotney Castle and Finchcocks’ Kent Goldings. Award Winner.
A rich dark colour with a complex malt bill brewed with the freshest east Kent goldings green hops. Picked and into the copper within a matter of hours expect a malty backbone with fresh green flavours from the hops.

Originally brewed in 2004 to commemorate the 30th (Pearl) Anniversary of the Canterbury Beer Festival. It was also the fastest selling beer at the 2004 Maidstone Beer Festival. This golden ale is hopped with Kent First Gold, Yakima Valley Cascade from the USA and Hallertauer Perle hops from Germany which impart a citrus, spicy and floral finish to this summer ale.
Light yet full-bodied, this golden ale is packed full of flavour. An all euro hop affair leads to a great bitterness. Hints of tangerine citrus followed by a fresh aroma.
Gold coloured seasonal beer, refreshing and quaffable. Yet despite its relatively low ABV this beer still retains a good flavour and long aftertaste. Good aromas on the nose and a balanced bitterness to sweetness on the palate. A satisfying beer.

This golden ale is hopped with 9 different types of Kent bred hops in a total of 9 separate additions. That really is the Spirit of Kent – a beer with probably the most types of hops on the planet….? This beer's aroma is of citrus sweetness (mandarin), earthiness and pungent hop sack. The palate similarly is of mandarin sweetness with a muscular earthiness, a slight note of almond and a dry bitter finish.

Clear pale gold colour Cider made with Kent apples. A bittersweet dryish cider with some white wine character. Well balanced, smooth and with a full flavour.
Made of eight different Kent apples milled & pressed on the Wise Owl premises. Has an aroma of sweet wood resin, apples, oak. Dry, assertive but sweet at the same time. Tastes of apples and moderate light toffee, with some nice drops of sherbet. Light, easy to drink cider - a real thirst quencher with a lovely smooth finish.
Clear pale gold. A traditional Apple cider made with 50% bittersweet Kent apples. Well balanced for a medium with a fruity rose flavour and an aroma of Apple Pie. Easy drinking medium sweet smooth Cider with good character and a full flavour.
A real pear cider produced from Doyenne Du Comice pears. Medium. Multi award winning. Featured in The Independent’s Top Perry List. 2017 CAMRA award winner.
