Boddington’s
Boddingtons Cask Ale, often called the “Cream of Manchester,” is a traditional English bitter known for its smooth, creamy texture and subtle balance of malt and hops. First brewed in 1778 at the Strangeways Brewery in Manchester, it quickly became a staple in northern pubs. The cask version is particularly celebrated for its light golden color, gentle bitterness, and distinctive creamy head, making it refreshing yet flavorful. With its approachable character and easy drinkability, Boddingtons remains an iconic example of classic British ale.
