Barkway Literary Festival

The Barkway literary festival is an all day event featuring various authors, one of which is Roger Protz. Roger has written numerous books about pubs and beer and was a former editor of the Good Beer Guide. Additionally, he was Glenfiddich drink writer of the year in 1997 and 2004 and a former chairman of the British Guild of beer writers. His latest book ' Ale City' covers the beer related history of St Albans and its numerous pubs. 

Buntingford brewery will also be present and selling their locally produced beer.
