For those who don’t know what an Umeboshi plum is, they’re a tart, tangy, salt pickled plum that has long been a part of Japanese cuisine and folk medicine. So partnering it up with the plummy nature of a mild is a stroke of genius. You’ll get malty notes of raisin and plum with only a slight kiss of tartness
