An impressive golden straw coloured medium bodied ale, brewed using the finest English Maris Otter malts and choicest Fuggles giving a distinctive and assertive hop character, balanced with a fruity palate and a malty finish. Joy of Sesh
We’ve been wanting to do this for ages – a session IPA packed full of flavour. A simple clean malt bill with Maris Otter and oats for that lovely mouth feel. Hop wise – we’ve packed this little beast with our favourites – Mosaic and Citra. Expect tropical, citrus, stone-fruit notes. This sessionable IPA was a joy to brew and a true joy to drink. Vegan friendly.

Our first anniversary brew. A true one of a kind beer, brewed with a whole pilsner malt, a specially created yeast culture and hopped with Ernest, Pioneer and Progress hops. Not for the faint hearted.

Mad Goose
A refreshing citrus finish, inspired by our own fearsome feathered friend & a Grocery buyer. Her hiss is far worse than her bite, except around mating season! Brewed with finest Pale, Crystal and Cara malts with Pilgrim, Cascade, Centennial and Chinook hops resulting in a light copper ale that is full of character and a little bite!

Jimbo
In memory of our co-founder Jim Minkin who sadly passed away in 2020. JIMBO is our legacy brew to Jim’s character. He lives on in our great beer. Part of him will always be at Purity. Brewed with Pilgrim for that initial bitterness and then the classics Fuggles and Goldings as well as Emperor (a brand new hop as part of the Charles Faram hop breeding program) to bring body to the mouthfeel. These classic and new wave hops give JIMBO aromas of mixed berries, crisp apple, yet all balanced with a well-rounded nutty bitter finish.

Darwins Origin
First brewed in 2009 to celebrate the bicentennial of Charles Darwin’s birth in our home town of Shrewsbury. A copper coloured Bitter given an international twist with an eclectic mix of new and old world hops that give the beer its distinctive lemony aroma and dry finish.

Probably the best word ever. Cwtch (rhymes with butch) can mean either cuddle or cubbyhole. Grab a glass, relax and cwtch up with this untraditional Welsh red ale - a perfect blend of six caramelly malts and three citrussy American hops.

Butty Bach
Butty Bach is a Welsh term meaning ‘little friend’ – and this charmingly smooth premium ale has certainly made more than a few friendships in its time. We brew it using Maris Otter and Crystal malts together with locally grown Fuggles, Goldings and Bramling Cross hops. With such fine ingredients, no wonder it remains a firm favourite.

The Hopfather
