Sheffield CAMRA 42nd beer festival held in a fantastic venue with 250 beers and 40 ciders this year along with a great surprise to be confirmed nearer the date.

Very dark mild brewed with addition of chocolate and black malt. In keeping with the beer style, hops don't feature in the flavour profile of this beer as much as with other Great Heck beers but it's no shrinking violet. Beautiful chocolatey, roasty flavours dominate this classic dark mild.

US Amber ale, "We Come in Peace", which is unashamedly big, brash and full of crunchy malt and solid, juicy, resinous hops, namely Columbus and Chinook. The bitterness is high to punch through the maltiness and the overall result is a smack in the chops with a biscuit covered in hops!
Neepsend Collaboration. Earl Grey and Lemon IPA - masses of Centennial hops provide a hoppy lemony base for this beer, to which we added Earl grey tea and lemon zest in the fermenter. Full bodied, with bergamot notes and a lemon finish. Definitely not dispensed from a nutri-matic machine.

Vibrant passionfruit, waxy lemon and juicy kiwi notes are offset by a savoury, resinous and dry finish in this explosive pairing of American and New Zealand hops.

An American IPA with a lingering bitter finish
Further Westward is a West Coast India Pale Ale brewed with 6 different hops. It is a strong assertive beer with tropical fruit notes and a flavour bouquet as complex as any wine.
A brew you can sit on and drink all day, rammed with juicy malts and huge tropical aromas of mango and grapefruit. Massive additions of whole leaf American hops are added in ever increasing numbers at the end of the boil giving huge hop flavour. The beer is then dry hopped for days, driving the punchy aromas so you can smell it from miles away!

Collaboration brew with Abbeydale. A pina colada IPA brewed with lactose and oats to give a sweet creamy body hopped with Sorachi and Citra along with additions of coconut and pineapple to give a truly tropical taste
Wonderfully refreshing pale session beer showcasing the marvellous Mosaic hops from America. Bursting with tropical fruit flavours and a pleasant citrus bitterness. Just in case there wasn’t enough in the brew, we have dry hopped with even more Mosaic for good measure!
An almost dark chocolate-like base beer piled with the tropics of summit and centennial hops, lifting the waves of smooth chocolate off the tongue. We categorise Holy Cowbell as an India stout. ‘India’ coming from the same meaning behind ‘India’ pale ale. Basically lots and lots of hops added in their masses at the end of the boil and then in dry hop, to extract maximal hop flavour and aroma!
Named after California’s Highway 78, this India Pale Ale was brewed in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the city of Vista. With plenty of Galaxy, Falconer’s Flight, Southern Cross and just a tad bit of Nelson hops, this IPA is truly sessionable. Aroma’s include grapefruit, passionfruit, and citrus.
Collaboration with Kuhnhenn Brewing Company, Michigan. Big American style IPA with hops, hops and more hops! Hops even went into the mash! Fresh Grapefruit juice and zest added at the end of fermentation for a lovely citrus bite that builds to a dry fruity finish.

Mango Berliner Weisse - The brainchild of brewer. As the name suggests, it’s going to be bursting with tropical fruitiness from the mango pulp used, backed up by a “metric f***ton†(Jim’s words) of Galaxy hops.
German-style sour wheat beer brewed with Lemon, Coriander and Salt
San Diego style IPA and pumped full of citrusy grapefruit goodness. No artificial flavors either – we’re talking real fruit. The hops are carefully selected to play off the zestiness and the malt is subtle in the background. The result is dry, crisp and deliciously refreshing.
Strong Belgian style, spiced Saison brewed using fresh Cardamom, Star anise, Liquorice root and UK hops. Brewed in collaboration with De Noord-Hollandse Bierbrouwerij, North Holland. A portion of Vienna malt has been added to the grist for a subtle, sweet, biscuit backbone. Belle Saison yeast has been used for fermentation providing the timeless, traditional Saison trait.
